Before traveling and once you land at your destination, you will have the help of two key people in your experience: the Integrations Coordinator and the Dingoos Integrator.
The Integrations Coordinator will accompany you from the moment you have your visa approved, helping you prepare everything before your trip. And when you arrive at your destination, it will be your Dingoos Integrator who receives you and helps you with your first steps in the country.
Below we explain how each of them will help you.
Even before you set foot in your destination country, your Dingoos Integrations Coordinator will already be by your side helping you prepare everything so that your arrival is as easy and calm as possible.
They will help you manage your accommodation for the first days in a trusted place. As soon as you have your tickets purchased, they will send you the most common options among our students so that you can choose the one that best fits you depending on price, location and type of experience.
Of course, you always have the final word on where to sleep. Your Dingoos Integrations Coordinator will guide you and make several recommendations based on quality and budget… but the final decision will always be yours.
Important: in order to help you with the booking, once you send us your flights, you will need to confirm as soon as possible the number of nights you want to reserve. This way we avoid you running out of spots in the most in-demand accommodations.
If you travel to one of the main cities in the country, we will include you in the WhatsApp group of the #DingoosFamily approximately one week before your arrival. You will share the group with other students in a similar situation to yours.
It will be your first point of contact to meet people, solve doubts and start feeling part of the community from the beginning. In addition, your Integrations Coordinator will facilitate your introduction in the group so that everything flows naturally.
It will be your Integrations Coordinator who takes care of managing your transfer from the airport to the city centre so that your arrival is as easy and calm as possible.
Once you have sent us your flights, they will put you in contact with your Dingoos Integrator, who will write to you a few days before your arrival to coordinate your meeting when you land.
Depending on the city you travel to, the meeting point may vary: your Dingoos Integrator may pick you up at the airport or meet you in the city centre. In any case, they will be waiting for you to welcome you and accompany you during your first procedures upon arrival.
Important: If you are going to travel with more than 2 pieces of luggage or with sports equipment, you must notify us at least 15 days in advance. This may imply an additional cost for excess luggage ($25 AUD). If you travel with a surfboard, the maximum allowed in the contracted transport is 6ft.
At Dingoos we not only help you to contract your OSHC medical insurance, but also, your Integrations Coordinator will take care of reviewing that everything is correctly configured before your arrival.
If necessary, they will update the dates of your insurance so that they match exactly with your arrival to the country, ensuring that you have mandatory medical coverage from the first day and throughout your stay.
This way, you will be able to travel with the peace of mind of knowing that you are covered from the very first moment.
Once you land in the destination country, you will meet your Dingoos Integrator, and it will be him or her who will accompany you and help you carry out the first procedures so that you can enjoy the experience from the very first moment.
Thanks to our agreements with telephone companies at destination, from your arrival you will be able to enjoy a SIM card that your Dingoos Integrator will help you activate with your number so that you can communicate with your family and tell them that you have arrived better than well. Also, if you prefer to have a mobile line even before getting off the plane, we offer you a 5% discount for an international e-SIM from Roamic.
Once we have your mobile line activated, your Dingoos Integrator will accompany you to the bank so that you confirm your bank account. From the moment you confirm your identity, as the account holder you will be able to start operating with it and you will receive the debit card in the following days. This way you will be able to start paying in the local currency without your bank charging you commissions and forgetting about having to look for places to exchange currency.
As part of the integration services, your Dingoos Integrator will help you get the number you need to work legally in your destination, something similar to the Social Security number in your home country.
They will guide you through the whole process and make sure everything is as easy and quick as possible, so you don’t have to worry about paperwork or complications.
This way, you can focus on what really matters: enjoying the experience from day one.
So that you have total freedom of movement and you can go wherever you want whenever you want, your Dingoos Integrator will accompany you to apply for the city’s transport card and will explain how to use it. From now on you will be free to get on all the buses, metros or trams you want, young padawan.
When you arrive at your destination you will already have your policy contracted and activated. Even so, your Dingoos Integrator will help you request your medical card or download your insurer’s app. This way you will always have your policy at hand in case you need it.
